ArtsPlace and the Downtown Arts Center (DAC) - both managed by LexArts - provide high-quality performance and rehearsal space for artists and arts organizations to rehearse, perform and exhibit their work. The galleries at ArtsPlace and the DAC showcase the region's creative visual arts talent.
Additionally, both ArtsPlace and the DAC offer office space to qualified arts organizations at affordable rental rates well below market cost. Arts organizations such as the Lexington Philharmonic, Lexington Ballet and Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras take advantage of this opportunity so that their limited resources might be spent on productions rather than on rent.
